re post 2

This is the 2nd re post on my new blog and the first in the european trip saga, enjoy :)

Hello one and all to my second ever blog!! I hope you enjoy your stay. Today I wanted to talk about some traveling I did in the spring of 2013. Every year my school has a very extravagant trip to a far off land. Last year was China.... and I did not have the funds at that time to participate, but this year was different. I had managed to scrape up so money from birthdays and Christmases and collecting change from the couch to go on this years trip. The 3 countries we visited  were Ireland, England, and Wales. Well I guess we visited some cities in the USA, but that was just the city's airports. We had 6 adult chaperones along with our 40 students. We all fell into a smaller group while still hanging out and talking with everyone else on the trip. I fell in a group with my girlfriend and a couple of our friends we always hung out with at school. I don't know if they would be cool with me saying their names so I'll just leave it at that.

On March 7th we left out small town of St.Thomas Ontario, Canada at 5am to the Detroit airport. Due to some flight delays and cancellations we were forced to chill there for 10 hours with crap all to do until they could find a plane to take us to Newark, New jersey. We left Detroit at 6pm and arrived in Newark about 6:45pm. There we ran through the airport too our waiting plane to take us to Shanon, Ireland. FINALLY!!!

After getting maybe 2 hours of sleep on the plane we arrived in Shanon around 7am. Tired... but to excited to sleep our group of 46 Canadians bordered a bus, the bus that would be with us as we toured all of Ireland. Maybe about a hour away from the Shannon airport are the Cliffs of Moher, (seen above) that overlook the Atlantic ocean. a spectacular site.. Would highly recommend if you are planning a trip.

After driving through some small but beautiful villages in Ireland such as Doolin, sister town of Dublin, we arrived in Kilarny. 3rd biggest city in Ireland behind Dublin and Belfast. BOOM!!! Coming at ya with a couple Ireland facts of life right there. There we checked into out hotel and hung out there until dinner time. After dinner we went out to a small lake that I can't remember the name of right now and waited for the sun to go down. We watched the gorgeous sun set and when we got back to the hotel we were all so tired we all pretty much went to bed right there as soon as we got in our rooms.

Now I don't want to bore you guys anymore so I'll just do the highlights from here and do Wales and England in another blog or two. In Ireland we went on a horse and buggy ride through a national park and to an old castle that again I forget the name of, sorry guys it's been a few months haha. We met some baby lambs and goats and had photo up with them. Pic below is the only one i have with out someones face in it. we must be very careful with these things.
Now I feel like this is dragging on longer than it should so here comes a rapid fire of activities, went to a Irish bar, got to Dublin, checked into a hotel, shopped a bit, toured the Guinness beer factory, met up with other friends, shopped a bit more, toured Dublin by bus at night, slept, awoke, took bus to ferry dock, said good bye to our bus driver, got on ferry, cruised to Wales.

I shall publish our Wales and England adventures in probably 2 more blogs in the next couple days so stay tuned!!! I forgot to say this in the last blog but you should comment and let me know how you're liking these and what else you want me to blog about, but please keep the suggestions PG13 at least, Kay dudes?? Haha See ya in the next few days, KidAndTheBlog, out
