My post on Wales will be shorter than my Ireland post a few days ago but when I post my adventures from England and London it will make up for it. England's post will be much longer since there's just so much more to write about and it was the most exciting place of the trip. Got a funny story for you guys in that one too dealing with drugs and it ends with costing the hotel over 200 pounds... (nearly $350 Canadian) But anyway on too Wales we go.
We arrived in a small village in Wales that consisted of pretty much only a dock and train station. Not much to see there, well i shouldn't say that there's still a magnificent view of the Atlantic ocean. Next we went to a town called, I kid you not, "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" 100% serious that's the name of the town I can't make this stuff up. From there we tour the Welsh castle that looks so small on the outside but the inside it is just humungous. From Welsh castle we drove through the very hilly terrain of Wales and we made a quick stop at Swallow walls, a cool waterfall on the side of the road and only costs 1 pound to check out, totally worth it in my opinion. Spectacular mountains and Scenery in Wales , here's some pics so you can see for yourself.
This one was taken out front of Welsh Castle.
That night we stayed in Llangollen, at the hand hotel, it has been featured on the show Ghost Hunters because it is rumored to be haunted by woman's spirit. Back in the 1800's a man killed his wife after he caught her having an affair with another man in room 6 at the hand hotel. Fortunately I didn't stay in room 6, our teacher did though and he is still alive to tell the tale.
Well that's it, the next day we got up and drove to england and that post will be coming tomorrow or the next day so keep an eye out. And since you took some time to read this you should take 10 more seconds and leave it a comment and let me know how I did and if there's any improvements I could make, still kinda new at this. Until next time boys and girls, KidAndTheBlog out.
