This post is a little later than I wanted to put it up but I finally sat down to write it, got my music playing and nice refreshing beverage and now I can jump into it. I know it's long but I know you will enjoy if you read all of it. This will be the last post in the Europe blog but after this I don't really know what to blog about. I might blog some cool recipes I find but I don't cook anything to extravagant so if there's anything you would like me to blog about leave a comment and I will do my best. But as for this blog, here is our adventures in England.
We woke up at the hand hotel, all of us still alive and not in need of an exorcism and after a short bus ride we were in England!!! Our first stop was at Shakespeare's birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon. We visited and toured his first home where he lived with his parents and siblings. Very cool to see how not only he but anybody lived way back in the 1500's. From there we bused over to see Anne Hathaway's cottage to tour it and have some lunch. We couldn't spend to much time in the back roads of England however, since we wanted to be in London for dinner, so on the bus we went.

We got too London in good time and after checking into out hotel we had
dinner and later that night we went down to a part of London called
"Picadilly Circus," This was where we spent a lot of our time when we
were in the city, so much to see and do. From sit down restaurants, to
fast food places and so many stores. One of the really cool stores there
was M&M's world, where I found something to get my girlfriend for
her birthday, she is the world's hardest person to shop for I swear. If I
can figure out how to add Videos to a blog I'll post one I took in
Picadiily. It will be at the end of this post. (after posting this the first time I realized the video looked horrible on blogger and it was way too choppy, so I cut it out.)The next day we take a 2 hour tour of London, England. We couldn't see all of the city but we saw all the cool stuff like where they shot some scenes in a Harry Potter, places like Diagone ally and The leaky caldron. I have alot of pics from the tour and I'll post the ones I think are the coolest. other things we saw were the London tower, The London bridge, The tower bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham palace, West Minister Abby and Big Ben, but we get too have a closer look at these places later rather than just driving past.

Still got a little bit left to talk about, like the teaser about drugs and spending hotel's money I left in the last post but stay with me. After the tour we had some free time in London where some people went back to Picadilly Circus but my group just went to a little cafe' for lunch and relaxed for a bit. It was nice to slow down a have a quick break from all the go go go. Wow maybe I should have made London a two parter, but oh well.
After that we shopped for a few hours and saw some cool sites and went to a museum. We met up with everyone else and took a walk down the river, until we reached the Tower bridge and took a group photo.Right around this time I started to get a stomach ache, but decided to suck it up and go grab some dinner. after dinner the group was going on a Jack the Ripper walking tour, where a guide took you around to all the places Jack the Ripper murdered prostitutes, I was actually looking foward to it but my stomach ache got so bad a teacher had to take me a back to the hotel early. That kinda sucked but i did get this cool story from it.
We got back to the hotel and after I had a shower I took what I can only assume is an unhealthy amount of Gravol and pasted out. I figured to be woken up by my roommates when they came in around 11 pm, however I didn't get woken up until almost 1am when a locksmith and the hotel's manager opened the door. What happened when I was sleeping was my roommates came back but couldn't get into the room because the lock that reads the room key was OUT OF BATTERIES!! They tried banging on the door to wake me up but I was knocked out from the Gravol. It cost the hotel over 200 pounds to call in a locksmith after midnight, but hey, my stomach felt better.
The next day was our last day in LOndon and the next day we had to go home, 10 days seems to fly by in Europe. That day was more of a slack day, We went to the London eye in the morning, that's the big Ferris wheel that alows you too see the whole city from a different point of view. costs 30 pounds but I think its worth it. Then all we really did was walk around London for a bit and go see Big Ben up close. heres some pics of the Big city of London, England.

That night we had a tradition English fish and chips supper before
heading to Picadilly one more time too shang out before we took our long journey home the next day. The next day we got up early and bused to the airport,
where we flew back to the states, we landed in Chicago and took another
flight back to Detroit. No delays this time, we were off the plane, had
our lugage and back on a bus probably withing 10 minutes. and then we
set out on the few hour drive back to St.Thomas Ontario, Canada.
I hope you enjoyed this long post and the long blog for that matter, please leave a comment on what you liked about this blog or what you think i could blog about in the future. Thank you for staying with me this whole time and I will see you at my next blog, KidAndTheBlog out.
