Preheat oven to 425

Okay guys serious question..... Is it acceptable to take a crap during a phone interview??? I need to know... for a friend... I'm just kidding guys what's up an how's your life going?? I was bored so I figured I'd sit down and write a blog on a bit more of my life you might not know. I think that's what this blog is going to turn into, just more stuff about my life because I can't think of anything else to realy blog about, so I will start with my chosen career path, culinary, and go into a little bit more detail with that in this post. Hey maybe you will even learn something.

My jobs and experience

What would be ideal for me right now would be to start working in a restaurant, cooking. If you want to go into foods or any skilled trade for that matter the thing you want to do is train, train, train. The more you know before going to school for it the better. I work at Burger King as a cook and take the Cooking and baking courses at my high school but other than that I don't get much cooking experience, sure I will cook dinner every now and again but I can't get to creative with that stuff, Preheat oven to 425 and cook for 15 minutes isn't that hard. But in about a week and a half I will start at Boston Pizza for my co-op and I'm looking forward to gaining knowledge there for 4 or 5 months.

My education of The Culinary Arts

The whole reason I got into culinary is because of the high school I decided to go to, despite the smallish town i live in there's still 4 different high schools. I went to AVSS or Arthur Voaden Secondary School or Voaden or..... some other inappropriate names it is sometimes refereed too as. But none the less it was my choice because of it's High Skills Major programs in cooking, auto, wood-shop, arts and culture, and health and wellness.

I knew it would be a good place for me to decide on what career path I wanted to take. I tried them all and really like them all too. But it wasn't until grade 10 on about my 2nd or 3rd day in Mr.Flynn's cooking class that it was this high skills major (or SHSM) I wanted to take.

As for after high schools and after I finish my SHSM requirements I want to take culinary classes in collage, just what courses and what collage is where I'm at right now and what I'm trying to figure out. It's mainly between George Brown in Toronto,Ontario and Fanshawe in London, Ontario. However there are a few more that I'm looking at too.

I Think that's about it for this post, a little bit shorter than normal but oh well. I think I'm going to stick to the new post every Wednesday idea. It works out good for me and I hope it does for you too. If you enjoyed I'd love to read your comments on it and even if you didn't and thinks there's something I can improve on leave a comment and I look forward to reading them, until next time, KidAndTheBlog, out.
