I never really minded school too much, but I obliviously can't say I wanted to stay there any longer than I had too, I was very much looking forward to summer break. However one thing I was worried about was not being able to see my girlfriend as much since she doesn't live in town, but down in Port Stanley, about a 15 minute drive south. Not too far but it was far enough I couldn't walk. we still found away to hang out a hand full of times a week though, maybe 3 or 4 so it didn't seem so bad. And with her living so close to Lake Eerie we went down to the beach swimming a lot or went out boating with her family.
Another good thing about hanging out in Port Stanley is all the events down there, like Can-fest in late June early July for Canada day or Harbor fest the last weekend in July... it's all tons of fun. The fireworks for Can-fest were amazing down on the beach too, worth a trip next year. I would highly recommend a vacation down if you're with in driving distance, even if it's just for a swim or to go watch boats drive past. After me and my girlfriend went swimming we would sometimes go for a ice cream at a great place called Brodrick's, right in the middle of what I guess you could call downtown Port Stanley, but it is a really small town. It has so many different flavors its hard to choose one. You have to check Port Stanley out for yourself.

This ummer me and my family also went down to Walpole Island, located on the St.Clair river. on one side of the river is Canada and the other is the USA, It was a really fun trip even though we could only stay for one night due to my work scheduling and such. But what i think made that weekend really cool was my brother was able to come down that week and hang out at home again. It was nice to see him and play video games with him... hey I need some one to beat. He has a blog too and you should check it out the cool adventures he goes on in the Toronto Islands and GTA. Here's his Blog. SmallButCrucialDetails.
This summer I also lost my job due too some unfortunate BS reasons... But a few weeks later I didn't only get 1 new job, but 2!!! One a Burger King as a cook and one at a fairly well known Canadian coffee joint called Tim Horton's as a team member. Savin up the money for collage next year.
